Day 1 (Indian-Bhutan Border – Phuntsholing)

Our tour guide will receive you and your family at Bagdogra airport/NJP station. After giving a warm welcome, you will be taken through Indian-Bhutan border in a private car for the onward journey to Phuntsholing, a town in Bhutan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 (Thimpu)

After having breakfast, your day starts by visiting places like the crocodile park and local Tibetan Monastery. You will be transferred to the Bhutanese capital of Thimpu. Check into the hotel at Thimpu. Remaining day, you can visit places such as Memorial Chortem, Clock Tower, Mall and so on. Overnight stay at Thimpu hotel.

Day 3 (Thimpu)

On the third day of your trip, our tour guide will take you to explore the places like Samtheka Dzong, Buddha Point, Takin Zoo, BBS Tower view point, SAARC complex, Lakhang, Bhutan parliament house (Tashi Dzong). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 (Thimpu)

On this day, after breakfast, you will be taken to a long excursion of Punakha, which is about 72km away from Thimpu. Punakha Dzong is considered the country’s most beautiful Dzong. Return to Thimpu in the evening. Overnight stay in Thimpu.

Day 5 (Paro)

On fifth day, you will be taken to the most beautiful town of Bhutan called Paro. On the way, you can have a glimpse of Apple Orchads. After checking into the hotel, you will be taken to local sightseeing. Our tour guide will take you to places like Druk Yul Dzong, Kichhhu Lakhang temple, Paro Airport, Paro Dzong etc. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6 (Onward journey)

On day six, our tour guide will leave you at Bagdogra/NJP airport for your onward journey.

Places to visit

Phuntsholing

Phuntsholing is one of the must visit places in Bhutan, which is surrounded with clean environment. The major attractions of Phuntsholing are Karbandi Monastery, Amo Chuu, the Crocodile Breeding Center, Chukha Hydrothermal Project, the gate at the border (called Bhutan Gate) etc. The beauty of this city will captivate you and is a perfect place to visit for nature lovers.

Clock Tower Square

The Clock Tower Square has a tower with four clock faces situated in Thimphu. It is a popular known landmark in Thimphu. Many restaurants, shops, hotels are surrounding the square and they have a blend of modern and traditional architectural Bhutanese design with multi-colored wood frontages, sloping roofs and small arched windows.

Taktsang Monastery

Taktsang Monastery is popularly known as ‘Tiger’s nest’ and is located on a high cliff towards the north of Paro town. Your trip to Bhutan is never complete without climbing to Taktsang that fills you up in spiritual bliss.

Kichu Lhakhang temple

Kichu Lhakhang temple is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in Paro, Bhutan. It was built in 659AD by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet. Kyichu is said to be one of the main 12 temples of the 108 temples that were built overnight across Tibet and borderlands.
