How To Reach Kashmir:
By Air:
Srinagar airport is approximately 14 km from the city. There are many direct and connecting flights from major cities.
By Rail:
Jammu Tawi, which is approximately 305 km, is the nearest rail head for Srinagar. Trains from Delhi, Calcutta, Pune, Mumbai and other cities arrive at this station only.
By Road:
There are many private buses that operate to and from the state. National Highway 1-A is the main highway that connects Srinagar with Jammu.
